Welcoming New Artists to **STARS** Dance Club!

One of the things I’m really excited about at **STARS** is growing our family of performing artists. Along with our regular performers Max Kleene and Anj Gustafson, I am excited to announce that we have booked two new performers!

Phemie poster by Marc GelnerBeginning September 3rd, we are excited to announce that the awesome Phemie Alcott will be performing for four Wednesdays throughout September! She will be performing from 7:00pm to 8:00pm SLT.

Phemie has been a singer songwriter since 1993 and has loved playing  in Second Life since 2007. Along with her RL performing career, she has enjoyed playing to people from all over the world here in this warm and supportive environment of SL music. Her songs are introspective piano based tunes. A brand new EP , Raise the Black, is set to release this summer! Phemie also enjoys doing covers of her favorite artists such as London Grammar, Paramore, a Fine Frenzy, Tori Amos and much more!

We are hoping to book Phemie as a regular at the club, so please join us starting in September and give her the **STARS** Dance Club warm welcome! Keep an eye on our calendar.

JimmyT is a very popular artist, and we are excited to have him perform at **STARS** on September 26th from 8-9 pm SLT, October 24th from 8-9 pm SLT, and December  5th from 8-9 pm SLT.

JimmyT49 Dukes is a very talented guitarist, singer and songwriter with 10 plus years of experience. He was raised on old Motown R&B, which formed the foundation for his life-long love of the blues.  His style includes not only R&B, but also a strong rock component; he performs both original and cover tunes.

His weapon of choice is an old home built electric guitar  — “the red girl” — and his song themes include everything from life in general to love, loss and all things that makes us human! Other strong musical influences include Stevie Ray Vaughan (RIP), Robin Trower, Jennifer Battan, Joe Bonamassa and Buddy Guy to name a few. Jimmy’s music packs the room full and his audience engaging style is sure to bring the house down!

Please join us as we welcome both of these amazing artists to **STARS** Dance Club. Meanwhile, we will see you at the club. Coming up this week on Thursday is Max Kleene.

See you soon!
